Hi, my name is Kaitlyn Doherty and I live in Wilmington MA. I started my track career when I was a freshman but played soccer, basketball and softball growing up. Once I started track, I knew it was going to be my favorite sport and committed all my energy and time to it. In track and field, I am primarily a sprinter and jumper. I have also done the pentathlon and heptathlon. My favorite thing about track is competing at the meets because I get to see all of my track friends from different schools and I love the adrenaline of race time. My goals for the upcoming seasons are to get my 200m split better for winter and to work on my long jump form. I have always wanted to run in college, because I love the entire track environment and energy. I always work my hardest and put all my effort out on the track at race day.
I want to run track in college, but I am also very focused on my education. I am going into Pre-Med which is a very competitive and hard study to go into. I take school very seriously and have very strong goals from the future! I can't wait to continue my college search and get in contact with some amazing coaches and schools!
