My love for soccer began at a very young age. My dad took me to a Sheffield United match. I experienced passionate, beautiful soccer up close. From that moment on, I felt a deep desire to play soccer. One year later, as a birthday gift from my dad, I watched the USWMNT play in person. I fell in love with the game of soccer. From then on, I was hungry to play college soccer. My love and understanding of soccer has only grown each year I get older. Soccer has significantly shaped my character as well. Playing it has taught me the importance of consistently winning my own mental battles and being disciplined in every area of my life. Soccer has become my lifestyle, everything I do reflects my goals and dreams and I truly find so much joy in playing this sport.
I played club through grade school and I've had the opportunity to play on my high school varsity team since 7th grade. As a sophomore I was named captain for my hard work, passion for soccer, love for my teammates and my relentless desire to win. After being named captain, we finished the season at 14-1. We first won our conference regular season championship and then won the Southeast Michigan Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. (SMAC) I was named the MVP of the SMAC. We then won the Michigan Christian School Athletics Association Championship tournament where I was also named MVP. During my Sophomore season at BCS, I finished with 34 goals, and 12 assists. I finished 4th in the State of Michigan and 167th nationally in goals scored. My 12 assists ranked 14th in the State of Michigan. Finally, I finished with 80 points scored which placed me at 5th in Michigan and 201st in the nation. Even with a current high level of academic rigor I am able to balance school with sports and strive to be the best at both. Currently I am a junior and I made the Royal Oak Football Club's top team.
