My mother passed away when I was 6 years old. It was necessary to become very independent at a young age. I have become a very strong willed and determined athlete because of this. It is my belief that when tragedy strikes, you can either let it affect you negatively, or positively. Personally, I chose to let this shape me positively, making me more determined than ever to be the best person, student, and athlete I can be. I have a superior work ethic on and off the field. I am very talented, self motivated, and a natural leader. Though I am very confident in my ability, I am also open to new ideas and constructive criticism to make me a better person and player.
