As a student-athlete, I have come to know the responsibilities of keeping up on the field and in the classroom. Many people in my life have made a huge influence on me. My parents and coaches have always taught me that you should be yourself which is why one of my best qualities is outgoing. My coach also encourages me to try and accomplish my goals, one of my major goals to be able to play soccer for college. I started playing soccer when I was 4 and I have never wanted to leave the sport since. As I started to enter middle school I quickly realized that soccer was something I wanted to do in college and that dream has never died.
Growing up playing soccer helped me learn who I really am when I step out onto the field, a smart, aggressive player that will stop at nothing until the ball is in the back of the opponents net. Ever since I was little I played where ever the coach put me and did not complain, which is a good thing because now I can play from forward to back to the goal. " A good soccer player can play any position" - Greg Williams (Byron high school Varsity coach)
