I am Savannah Sartorius, I am 14 years old, graduating in 2028. I am a starting Center Forward, for Liverpool ENCL 2010 Girls Team, located in Oakland County Michigan. I have also played AAU basketball since I was 8, and have a history with softball and play school volleyball.
Soccer has been my favorite sport since I started playing when I was 3 years old. It has always been my dream to play at a high level. I have done, and will continue to do, whatever I can to get there. I have played on multiple teams- starting on a rec team from 2013-2016, then I moved to a travel team and played for the Warriors SC from 2016-2023. Now, I play for LFC Central ECNL 2023-present, to continue my journey at progressing to play at a high level.
I have came across many accomplishments starting in 2021 my Warriors SC team played in Junior State Cup- made it to quarter finals. In 2021 I also played up with the Warriors SC 2008 in State Cup and made it to the semi finals. In 2022 my Warriors SC 2010 team made it to the State Cup Finals losing 1-0. For the 2022-2023 season, my Warriors SC team competed in the National League- this was the first team to do so for the Warriors in club history. Summer of 2023 I played in the Super Y league with most of my teammates from LFC ECNL, and we advanced to Super Y Nationals in December of 2023, finishing 3-1, losing in the semi-finals in a shoot out.
My whole life I have always had soccer as my #1. I have come across difficult episodes in my life, but soccer has always been there for me. Soccer has always been my happiness and home. Soccer defines me. No matter how many mistakes I make, I am determined to fix them and learn from them. My speed, athleticism, and will to win are attributes that I display every time I am on the field that standout to others. No matter how many things I have going on, I will make sure that none of them get in the way to the one thing that really matters to me; and how much I dedicate my time and love to soccer and my team.
I am always making sure my grades stay higher than a B+ at school. I make sure I get all my work done, because I recognize a big part of being a successful athlete is having academic success. I often enjoy Language Arts, because I love to write and talk about my life. I am undecided as to what areas I will study in college and what I want my job to be, but I know I have time to figure that out.
My main goal is to play Soccer at the highest level and at the best college that suits me. I realize what it takes to get there, so I will give my all.
