2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a junior (Class of 2019) at Elk Rapids High School in northern Michigan and we have a strong soccer tradition. I am lucky to be part of a school that teaches us excellence from AYSO in first grade all the way thru to High School soccer. I know I want to go to college to continue my education and play soccer at the keeper position. Being that my grand parents and my mother were both teachers and administrators along with my father being on the school board I have been raised with goals and expectations that center around education, community service and athletics. I think because of this back ground I am better prepared for college life after high school. I have played soccer since I was in first grade including travel soccer with the North Storm TBAYS out of Traverse City, Michigan. We just won our Fall 2016 Premier 2 league championship. I played on the Elk Rapids varsity basketball team and soccer team as a freshman and am looking forward to the next three years at ER and if I work hard.... college soccer after I graduate in 2019. I can not imagine life without learning and playing sports!
