If awarded the chance to play soccer in college it would be an honor. I unlike many have not been playing all my life and started around the age of 13. Playing on an all boys team with my twin brother. I was not all that interested in it at that time. When leaving middle school I knew that when I got to high school I wanted to play a sport for sure, so I gave soccer a second chance. As a freshman I played many positions. I ended up somehow being goalie one day and actually liked it even though it was a bit nerve racking. To this day I would not change a thing. Goalie is the best position! What makes me stand out is that I am not your average goalie. I am a young African American goalie who wants to show others who look like me that they can be in the same position. I am caring, very helpful, and smart. I would be a great addition to your team because I am dedicated and driven. When I start something I finish it no matter how hard it is. I have maintained very good grades while playing soccer. I want to continue my passion for soccer  while working toward my goal of becoming a Neonatologist.
