I'd say two of the traits that set me apart from other athletes is my effort and attitude, especially positivity. These I can always be working on and always try to have at a hundred percent. Giving 110% is my goal every single time I step onto the field or in the weight room. I always want to be the hardest working one on the field and when I make a mistake instead of dreading on it I immediately work to get it back. As for attitude and positivity, my past 4 years at high school I always tried to be as positive as I could be, especially as the captain this past year. It made the environment more fun and enjoyable for my teammates and coaches. Another thing I really value is being a great teammate. Mental health is very important to me and something I really try to look after especially in my teammates and friends. So checking in on my teammates and trying to always have the qualities of a great teammate is something I strive to accomplish. Always being there for them to talk, being able to give advice on and off the field, being a positive and fun teammate to be around, working hard against my teammates to push them to get better, working hard in games to play for each other, and being a friend for them as well.
In the classroom it isn't much different. I carry those traits into a classroom environment and try to work just as hard. I want to learn and focus on getting good grades. Also focusing on being a good student which can have a positive affect on my teachers and peers.
