Hi! My name is Mya Hoo and I am from Minnetonka, Minnesota. I have been playing soccer since I was in first grade and I am very passionate about playing. Every practice I am excited to learn how to improve my skills to use them in the next game. I am easily able to get along with others and this goes for the other team as well. I am a good sport and will always encourage and never put down, no matter what. So far, I have done PSEO for a year so I already have a feel for what college classes are like. I have been told by many people that I am a very hard worker whether it’s school, soccer, or work. I have done track for numerous years and I enjoy spending my time with loved ones or relaxing outside. In the summer, I love paddle boarding and swimming. In the winter, I enjoy skiing and playing in the snow.
I am looking for a school that has balance between academics and the field. Setting myself up academically for the future is important to me so I would like a school with good academics. Ideally, I would like to come on to a team and be able to make an immediate impact on the field. I am looking to play on a team where I will enjoy playing soccer and improve my skills with a great soccer program. I understand the commitment it takes to compete at the college level and I am most definitely ready for this challenge.
