Coming from a Colombian family, soccer has always been a passion of mine. I grew up watching soccer games and playing with my brother. I have a very good vision of the field and of the game. I am very coachable, and I know how to coach others as well. My first year on Varsity as a freshman taught me how to be a leader. Most of my teammates had very minimal experience in the sport, so it was my job to lead by example. I am extremely competitive, and have great technical skills. This competitive spirit drives me to be the best I can be. On the soccer field I am always composed, calm, and a great decision-maker. I am a great teammate and I know what I need to do in order to be a part of a team. Providence Academy is an academically rigorous Catholic school. I want my college experience to continue to challenge me academically, as well as be a good fit for me athletically. With a 4.0 GPA, I am always looking for ways to improve and new tasks to tackle. Playing soccer for nine years has helped me to learn the value of sacrifice, commitment, and it has helped me to learn how to prioritize my life. I believe that I have the talent, drive, and passion to be a great student-athlete.
