I have enjoyed playing sports since I can remember with my large, athletic family. I have played soccer since the age of 7 and basketball since the age of 12. I have enjoyed playing soccer over the many years from REC leagues to Club to High school varsity. Since my sister ran track/field in college (where she set school records), my desire for playing a college sport, soccer, grew. I am graduating this year, Spring 2021, but I am officially taking a service gap year next school year to put on retreats for teens. Thus, I am hoping to play college soccer Fall 2022.
On my teams, I am known as a friendly connector who takes interest in each of my teammates. However, I am also known as one with a loud but encouraging voice on my teams. On my varsity team as a senior, I received the top defense award where my coach named me "The General" of the defense. Being a center-back and a certified referee, I have learned to watch the game and really understand what is going on.
I am hoping to get a marketing and maybe a masters degree. I have a hard-working mentality, which I also hope to bring to the field. Overall, I have a strong passion for soccer, and I am excited to see where my future holds.
