I have been playing soccer since I was 4 and have stuck with the sport since day 1. I play with Saint Paul Blackhawks, which has been my one and only club. I've been on the C1 team for three years. I play center mid, and even sometimes goalie. When school soccer came, I was able to make it on the Varsity team in 8th grade, and have been a starter for every single game. My position for Varsity is Center/Right Outside Mid. My high school team has played in Sectional games and have almost gone to the Semi-finals. I traveled to Sweden and played in the Gothia Cup with my club team, making it sectionals. In 10th grade, I was nominated by my teammates the, "Panther Award," which states I am a dedicated, leader, positive playerI tore my ACL. I felt defeated. But, I used those emotions to get better and setting my goals of playing at a competitive level of college higher. Now, I am a fast, skilled player and am able to distribute the ball to others. My confidence with the ball, as well as going one-on-one, exceedingly helped both teams. I want to play in a competitive environment for college while also maintaining my focus on academics. The balance between education and soccer is very important to me since I want to study either Sports Medicine or Digital Media. I love soccer and would want to play for a college or University.
