I am very hands on learner and enjoy working in team environments, from getting to practice early to put together or take down boats, to leading my school's Environmental club, I have learned not only how to manage time, but how to maintain a healthy life around everything. As both an older and younger brother to two sisters I have learned to be not just a leader outside of my house but also in as well. My older sister is adopted, as she is disabled, I take on the role as being her caregiver sometimes. I work off the motto of leading as a group and growing together as a group, which I not only learned through peer leaders but I have used in volleyball, and in our quad, we all function as one boat and not one person takes the win or the loss.
I have loved rowing since I have gotten into it, as I have progressed in the last year I have found it to be my most favorite sport even on the mid 30 degree mornings on the lake. This spring my goal is to go to the national championships through my constant progression on the erg this winter season.
