UPDATE: UNFORTUNATELY MY SOCCER RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES ARE ON HOLD AS I BATTLE A NEW CANCER DIAGNOSIS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONSIDERING ME AS A CANDIDATE FOR YOUR TEAM. MAYBE NEXT YEAR.
Although I haven’t been playing soccer for as long as my peers, I’ve quickly become a very valuable player through constant hard work and commitment to my team. I’m hoping to continue playing throughout college for the pure joy of the game.
I am an accurate passer and an aggressive player who is not afraid to get dirty and put my body in front of the ball. I have a powerful kick and very precise heading skills. On my current team, I am the lead scorer off of crosses and corner kicks. I also lead the team in game winning goals. This is because when all hope seems lost, I don’t give up, and I continue to play my hardest until the very last second.
Off the field, I am an excellent student, with a 4.06 GPA so far. I am active in my school and community, with leadership roles or memberships in many different clubs and organizations. Most recently I participated in a “First Down” clinic to teach underprivileged youth in my area how to play football.
Ultimately, I would like to attend an academically competitive college where I can challenge myself in the classroom and still play the sport I love.
