Esmeralda Jones '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Esmeralda (Ese) Jones and I am from the small town of Bolivar, Missouri. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and it's always been a goal of mine to play at the college level. I've been playing with a competitive soccer club since 5th grade, but unfortunately I had to take a year off because of a severe injury to my knee. After pushing myself in rehab for 7 months, I was able to start every game for my high school varsity team as a freshman. I am looking forward to getting back to the competitive level that I am used to and hopefully increasing my skills as a soccer player. Just as I was determined to get back on the pitch, I'm also determined to perform my best academically and in all areas of my life. I'm looking forward to all the experiences that I will face within my high school and club careers over the next three years. I know they will be both fun and challenging, but "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
