My name is Zoe Warden and I'm from Bolivar Missouri. I play club soccer for Sporting Springfield and high school soccer for Bolivar. I have played soccer for as long as I can remember and have always wanted to play at the collegiate level. I have played on a few different teams and each time I moved, it was in pursuit of a more competitive team. The first travel team I played on was the local Bolivar FC team where we traveled to Springfield for games. I played there for six years, then decided to get more competitive and play on Lady Demize. I played there for three seasons, then I switched to Sporting Springfield, the team I'm on now. I realized that Sporting was a better fit because our season games are in Kansas City, we go to more competitive tournaments, and we go to college showcases. I also found out that the goalkeeper training was much better and more consistent. This last season my Sporting coaches said that my goalkeeping had improved substantially over only one season and they thought that I was taking private lessons. This season my team won the U19 Missouri Presidents Cup, now we advance to Regionals in June, and we got 1st place in the Heartland Division one U19 girls division. I have always pushed myself to get all A's in my classes, which will continue as I get older. When I go to college, I plan on studying Architectural Engineering, which I have always wanted to do. I love drawing buildings, especially modern houses, and seeing how buildings come together. I know that high school and club soccer will be challenging the next year and a half, but I also know that with some hard work and dedication, I will get through it. Another thing I know is that God will help me through all of life's ups and downs.
