Maci Mayfield '23 Recruiting Profile

Over the past couple of years, multiple people have told me that I’m going places because of my work ethic, commitment level, and focus. I’d like to believe them, but it doesn’t mean anything until I accomplish my goals. At this point, though, I can say that I dedicate every day to improving my game, whether it be my first touch, shooting, or even mental training. Over this past season I have improved greatly and become a better, faster, and more versatile player. For example, this past season I played fullback, center back, and wing midfield. I’m now playing center midfield for my high school varsity team and am a captain. 

On the academic side of things, I try (and do) maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my past years of school. My current GPA is 4.58. I’m taking all honors classes and will continue to do so. I have also taken the PSAT and Pre-ACT. I scored highly in both with a 1240 in the PSAT and a 31 (composite score) in the Pre-ACT. My most recent score on the ACT is a 33.
