Personal Statement

My name is Isabella Leddick (aka Bella) and I am from Kansas City Missouri. I started playing soccer at the YMCA with my best friend across the street when I was seven.  I wasn’t even sure I really wanted to play soccer, but my friend convinced me, and I’m so glad she did because it put me on the path to where I am today. The path I want to continue going forward.

I play Club soccer for KC Athletics Academy Select 06 as a FORWARD/ WINGER. I have been playing club soccer for the last 10 years where I have also played Outside Back, Center back and Defensive Mid.

I attend Staley High School and will graduate in 2025.  I play FORWARD/MID on the Staley Lady Falcons Varsity Soccer Team. My teammates compliment me on my growth as a player, team spirit, crazy personality, and friendship on and off the field.

I am currently in the Business Leadership & Entrepreneur pathway program in high school, and I want to further my education by attending a college with not only a great soccer program, but that also offers a degree to help further my education towards running my own Empire.

When I’m not playing soccer, I’m just a teenager hanging out with my friends. I enjoy music, and anything to do with health and beauty. If there is a rain delay on game day you might find me braiding the whole team’s hair.  I also coach soccer with Happy Feet for little kids ages 3-6 and manage the Boys Staley High School Soccer Team.

When it comes to sports, I feel like I was born to be an athlete. Soccer is the game where I choose to put my focus. Playing soccer for me isn’t just about the game, it’s about the drive and the competition, the passion and the excitement it brings me, and I never want that to end.

I strive to be the best person I can on and off the soccer field. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
