I have been playing soccer since I was 7. I was recruited to play soccer by the playground monitor who saw how fast I was at a young age. From that very early age I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I have a lot of speed running the line and beating opponents, technical foot skills and a high soccer IQ. I always try to be the best team leader I can and encourage my teammates on the field and off. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players that never misses a practice or a game.
I work hard all year round improving my soccer skills by participating in indoor sessions, futsal, 3v3 and ID Camps because I find these give me opportunities to learn from players I may not have ever met. I also feel playing the small sided games help me continue to improve on my 1v1 and foot skills in tight spaces.
During my freshman year of high school soccer, I received honors that included All Region Team, All District Player of the Year, and District First Team and recorded 29 goals with 7 assists. In my sophomore year the honors I received were Honorable Mention All-State Team, All Region Team, All District Team and recorded 18 goals with 9 assists.
When I am not playing soccer, I work hard at my schoolwork. I also volunteer at a food pantry/thrift store in my small community that is a place, where over 60% of kids at my school are on free lunch, helps people in need experiencing hard times.
I would like to attend a college where I can continue to improve in the classroom and on the pitch. I am open to all options and would like to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to be a good teammate that will be a role model to my peers, in my community and make my parents proud.
