Personal Statement
My name is Melanie Seelinger. I am anticipating graduation in the class of 2025. I have been playing soccer since the age of 4 and started playing club when I was 6. I am from a small town an hour east of Kansas City, Mo. Growing up in a small town I have had to travel significantly to experience the level of play I thrive in. Understanding the sacrifices both my parents and I have made all these years is truly humbling. Making these sacrifices has taught me the importance of hard work on and off the field. I strive to be a leader on the field, a builder not a breaker. I hope to continue playing at the collegiate level. As well as growing in my academic career.
