Samantha Winistoe...Personal Statement
My biggest fan when I was younger was my mom , she would run up and down the sidelines cheering for me and pushing me to do my best . My hardest struggle in life was losing her in 6th grade . She always dreamed of seeing me grow as a player and watch me mature. So I’m determined to follow that out, for her and myself. Due to this event I had to grow up quickly to help my dad, my sister and most importantly myself. I learned to challenge myself and to live life to the fullest every day. I have a happy-go-lucky attitude and love to crack jokes to keep high spirits. But I will get down to business when needed. Soccer gives me the time to break away from stress in life and do what I love. I strive for a team that can be like family and I can grow with them into a successful woman. I believe that I blend well with most and can help bring out the best in a team!

- AwardsI have made Academic All-Conference team every year for soccer and softball.
- ActivitiesI am involved in Link Crew and FCA at school. Link Crew focuses on helping new students and freshman get welcomed into the school, and introduce everything we offer here. FCA (Fellowship Of Christian Athletes) focuses on the relationship between our religion and our sports, we also do service projects in town. Last year we held a "Steph's Night" for a high school Junior who is battling cancer, we helped raise support for her and all proceeds went to her family. I have also been accepted to Leadership at the school for the 2018-2019 year . Leadership helps set up school events , helps charities , and does fundraisers as well.
