Gabby Wagenfuhr '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Gabby Wagenfuhr, and I am a freshman at Elkhorn South High School in Omaha Nebraska. I am looking for a college that has both an academically and athletically excellent program. 

 I am a very competitive, hardworking, and determined player. I play left wing, center mid, and center forward but I can easily adapt to any position on the field because many coaches who have seen me play always say that I can read the game very well. I play for Sporting Nebraska FC in the ECNL league, my team won Nebraska State Cup 2022, and I was voted into the top 11 players in the state. Some of my strengths are agility, ball control, beating girls 1v1, and shooting/corners. 

Some of my accomplishments are, I was selected to represent the neODP u13g team at the Memphis interregional Showcase. I am a two-time state cup best XI.

Soccer is in the Family, with my dad playing at the professional level, and my mom playing at the college level, and I plan to continue on this path.

I am the oldest of 7 siblings in two blended families. My youngest brother has special needs and has pushed me to be a better person on and off the field. I want to do something in the future that allows me to help children with special needs and know that a college degree is necessary for the success of my future.
