Playing soccer makes me feel empowered. I‘m playing a very competitive sport that pushes me to my fullest potential. I like being able to work with my team to show what it takes to be the best out there. I am good at communicating to get the ball or to help out a teammate. I’m also good at running. My agility to get to the ball as fast as possible, then make the right decision to be able to win the ball are some of my key contributions to my team.
The best part of soccer is playing higher and more skilled teams. I also love to feel like a family with my team. Whether it is getting excited when we win or beat the team or to know when we need to keep working and the areas to get better in. The hardest part is playing competitive teams and staying strong and aggressive the whole game no matter the score. Being on a team is important to me because I can come to practice and games and give it my all to help my team. They help me get better too.
I am a leader on the field because I can communicate and be a role model for others, play my hardest, use my competition to get better and be able to lead the team. The best coach for me is one that pushes me to get better everyday, gives me constructive criticism, and works me to my fullest potential. Soccer helps me work hard on and off the field to accomplish any dreams, when to push myself harder and when to know when to take a break. It also challenges me to find new ways to accomplish future goals in soccer and school.
My future goals are to play varsity high school soccer for all 4 years and to get a scholarship to a college. I want to focus on academics as much as soccer and look forward to working in the medical field to become a physical therapist .
