Greetings,
My name is Rourke Nebel and will be a 2025 graduate of Papillion LaVista South High School. I grew up the youngest of 4 siblings. A natural competition was always a part of our family relationships and day to day life. Being the youngest, I got to go and cheer on my older siblings in all their activities, whether it was soccer, basketball, softball, and even marching band and show choir. Watching their love and hard work from the sidelines only fueled my drive to get out there as soon as possible.
I tried as many sports as I could, and whether it was hitting a triple in softball, downing a 3 pointer, or slotting the perfect pass for a goal, the thing that I've enjoyed the most is the team comradery and support we give each other. As you can see, our parents gave us the opportunity to excel at a number of activities. This variety gave me the chance to experience a multitude of teams and take the best aspects of each to help me grow into a leader and energy source for these groups.
I went all in with soccer, because I like the athleticism, strategy, challenge and team work it takes to get the ball in the goal. I hope to continue my success through my high school years and into college. I am looking for a college that has a great group of players that can hold each other accountable and help each other get better. I hope to find a college that has an area of study in Sports Management which i hope leads to a career in coaching..
Thank you for your interest in me. Let me know if you need any more information.
