In the fall of 2022 I scored a 2A state record of 72 goals for 2A state finalist Sage Ridge School (previous record is 55 goals)(72 goals in a season is also #2 all-time for players in Nevada across all prep divisions for goals in a single season). According to MaxPreps, I was #2 in the country for goals scored this fall high school season. Since the HS season ended I have played for Sierra Surf 06 and Truckee United where I play attacking midfielder.
I grew up playing soccer overseas in Doha, Qatar where I learned a very technical, passing style of play. I credit my European coaches in Qatar for helping me develop a very technical and possession orientated style. In 2019 I was lucky enough to attend several games at the women's World Cup in France. Watching these games played at such a high level made me realize that I also wanted to apply myself and work hard to play elite soccer. During my time in Doha I won an Instagram juggling challenge sponsored by Marcus Rashford of Manchester United. I was fortunate enough to replicate his sequences in a way that met his approval, beating out boys and girls from all over Europe and the Middle East. He kindly rewarded me a game ball and boots. It was really a great football/soccer memory.
In 2021 my family relocated to Reno, Nevada where I play for the Sierra Surf 06 team. We have been fortunate enough to compete in very high level tournaments, including the Surf Cup, the Manchester City Cup and other tournaments in nearby California. I am a dynamic, unselfish midfielder, with great vision, great touch and control in tight spaces, and an ability to recover defensively. My game day goal is to always do whatever I can to help my team and my teammates excel on the pitch. I love playing soccer, and I try to express that in my games.
Upon my return to the USA, I also competed in track and field for the first time, setting the Nevada 1A record in the 3200 meters and winning both the 1600 and 3200 meter 1A state titles as a freshman. I am currently the third ranked 3200 meter runner in Nevada across all schools and divisions. I am also ranked #2 in the 1600 meters. I run elite track times: 4:53 in 1600 meters and 10:37 in the 3200 meters. The fitness I get from running really helps my soccer, as I have good endurance and can cover a lot of ground in the midfield. I have been told by track coaches that my times are highly competitive for a sophomore at the national level, and I should also seek college recruitment in track. I was able to qualify for the Nike Outdoor Track and Field Nationals set for June, 2023 in the highest division/bracket. I had a great experience at the IMG camp, where I was chosen as an "IMG Ascender" (one of the top players in the camp).
Finally, I am a strong student, with a 4.0 GPA at an academically rigorous college preparatory school. I look forward to finding the right college match as I pursue my dreams to play soccer at an elite level.
