Personal Statement

My name is Jennah Harvey and I am a Senior at Conant High School. I have been playing soccer for 13 years and I could not imagine my life without it. I have been very fortunate to be chosen as a captain this past year to lead my team throughout my senior season. I also have been chosen as an All-State athlete for the 2nd team both Junior and Senior Year.  My entire family plays soccer and my dad even coaches it. He is the Men's Varsity Soccer Coach this year at Conant High School and was as well as last year. My older sister Hannah Harvey plays soccer for Becker College in Massachusetts and she is my inspiration as she follows her dreams. She has now played for Medaille College this past fall because she has to transfer due to Beckers closing.  My goal in life is to help others and always try to be the best person I can be. Some quotes that I firmly believe in are "Exist Loudly" and "Be the leader you want to follow." My entire life I have been a good student, Honors Roll. I also grew up with firm morals as I am a Catholic and I follow God. I have a very strong head on my shoulders and I firmly believe in a healthy lifestyle; no drugs, smoking, or alcohol. I have been part of my school's Chorus, Band, Drama, and Orioles Outreach Leadership Program for many years and I enjoy being a leader and helping those in need of guidance or assistance. Yes, I am 5'2 but I don't let that get in my way, "Good things come in small packages" is what my momma always says. I am a very happy person who loves to talk to new people and help anyone I can.  I am a family person and a very outgoing individual who isn't afraid to start a conversation or help others achieve their goals. One day, My goal is to be a Physical therapist that helps kids with prosthetics love themselves as they learn their new way of living. I am going to do anything and everything to get my dream accomplished.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
