Isabella Lund '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Isabella Lund and I attend Lower Cape May Regional High School in Cape May, New Jersey. I have been playing soccer since I was 3-4 years old and have been an asset on multiple club teams as well as my high school team. I am a versatile, high-IQ athlete defensively and offensively. As team captain and starting holding midfielder for Cape Express Comets and LCMR, I lead my team on and off the field. I have a clean first touch, field vision, long through passes and over the top balls to create scoring chances. I also take free kicks, six kicks, and corner kicks. I stay calm on the ball and know when to slow down the game or speed it up. Several years as a center back has provided me with a beneficial defensive mindset that has also helped me see the entire field and understand positioning. Making the Surf National Soccer team multiple times has taught me how to adapt and connect with other players and their different styles of play. Playing competitive soccer for twelve years has taught me many life lessons that I will carry with me forever. One being the importance of time management. Not only do I take soccer very seriously, but my academics as well. I have taken multiple honors and AP classes along with being involved in many clubs and honor societies. I want my college experience to be balanced academically, socially and athletically, as much as possible.
