I am a 5'5 FWD that has enjoyed the sport of soccer since I was 3 yrs old. My passion in the sport is with my coaches and teammates and competing together towards a common goal. The bond that comes with a team environment is very important to me and allows me to build relationships to last my lifetime.
My goals are to attend a college that stretches me academically, fulfills me and rounds me socially, and embraces and challenges me in soccer. I like a diverse student body and diverse academic curriculum. I realize that my college experience will be one of academic, athletic and social experiences and I am looking forward to sharing them with new friends.
I have experienced a lot of growth these past two years playing and training at my club and competing in National Leagues and national tournaments. I have been fortunate to compete in the top brackets of these events playing teams from across all leagues (ECNL, NL and GA) to experience soccer across various clubs and geographies. As well, having the opportunity to play internationally for the Peruvian Women's National Team (U17 and U20) has been an amazing experience and only confirmed that I am best suited to compete at a high level, with high quality training and playing, and with like-minded players that are committed to being the best player and teammate they can be.
I know that I will be an asset to a team in college as I ALWAYS put team first. I am accountable to my teammates and coaches, committed to development, improvement, competition and winning. I am a leader on and off the field and aspire to improve both myself and my team each and every time I am out on the field. And I ALWAYS have fun doing it. There will be no surprises with me. I strive to be consistent everyday and approach the game the same way each time out. And my experience training and playing for a Girls Academy club, competing nationally and internationally (FIFA), and gaining insights from multiple coaching staffs has prepared me for the next part of my journey. And some things will never change...I will ALWAYS:
- Work my hardest
- Apply my learning
- Out compete others
- Be better today than I was yesterday
- Strive to Win
