Hello Coaches!
My name is Juliet Givoni and I aspire to play soccer in College- at a well respected institution. I am a double-footed player that has the ability to play a variety of positions on the field. I am the Captain of my High School team where I was named 1st team all conference and county 2023 (Sophomore year), coming in second in the county with most goals and 2nd Team all conference my Junior year.
What makes me unique is my technical ability --being able use both feet and get out of pressure quickly. I am very strong 1v1 and can play both defensively and as an attacker. I am told I have a very accurate/powerful shot with both feet and take corners on both sides and free kicks. I would also consider myself a person that studies the game, coachable and always striving to get better. I am not a flashy player and you may not notice me right away. But I am a player that makes the right connections with accurate technical passes and what my teammates and coaches would call "necessary and reliable." I am big observer and do not like being the center of attention - but I am very competitive, a natural leader, extremely driven and strong - physically and mentally.
I am dedicated to achieving academic excellence and currently have a weighted GPA of 4.7/5.0, unweighted 4.0/4.0 in all honors classes and AP's. This past October I was inducted into the National Honors Society. In addition to playing soccer, I play HS Varsity Basketball - I won Offensive player of the year as a Sophomore. I started a new Habitat for Humanity Club at my HS to build homes in Newark, NJ, part of the Math Honors Society and serve as a math, science and Spanish tutor for HS & middle school students that need extra help. I also volunteer for the JESPY House - a place for adults with mental and physical disabilities. I work as a lifeguard (CPR & First Aid certified) and I am proficient in Spanish.
My goal is to find a college where I can contribute to the school community both athletically and academically. Thank you for reading my profile!
