Erin Vander Plaat '17 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a college where I can play soccer as a freshman and get a lot of time on the field while getting a good education and continuing to grow as a person. I am most excited for a high level of play and challenging myself and meeting people with the same passion that I have. Every time I step out on the field, I try my hardest and will do anything I can to win. Two of my strengths on the field is shielding off defenders and laying the ball off to midfielders. I enjoy setting others up for a shot, while also freeing myself up to get the shot.

In school, I am always trying my best to get the best grade possible. I am in all honors classes, English, History, Math, and Science. I get A’s and B’s in every class with a very tough grading scale. I am also involved in girl’s varsity soccer and varsity basketball, started for both teams as a freshman and sophomore. I am also a part of class council, and try to stay involved as much as possible. I am in the graduating class of 2017.
