Lillian Siegel '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches,

My name is Lillian Siegel and I am currently a junior at Rutgers Prep. I started my love of soccer when I was 3 years old. A few years later, I had my 1^st travel team experience and even then, I stood out with my speed, vision of play, and goal scoring. From there, I continued to expand on those skills throughout the years and different countries. I had the privilege to live abroad in Switzerland for 4 years during my middle school years. I played on an all-German speaking team and had to communicate with ‘soccer messaging’, as I did not speak German. I was able to integrate in my new environment and even flourished in it which led me to joining as one of the youngest players on the Selective North West Regional Girls Team in my first year there. Playing abroad was a different game, playing against all boys’ teams, learning futsal, learning new aggressive techniques, and the sportsmanship amongst each other was invaluable experience. I am really looking forward to the coming years, being able to learn and improve from my school team and club team (NJ Premier) and hope to one day play at a collegiate level.
