Ava Pellecchia '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ava Pellecchia. I am a  senior (2022), and I attend school at Haddon Township High School, located in New Jersey. I play for Jersey South FC, and I am looking to play soccer at the next level. Ever since I was little, I always dreamed of playing soccer at a high level in college. Throughout my years, I have been moved around in different positions which has allowed me to extend my variety of positions on the field. Also, it made me realize how crucial every player on the field is. I believe I contribute a lot to a team because my personality allows me to bring everyone together as a family. In addition to that, my patience with the ball on the field allows my teammates to organize quickly, which is very important in our attack. Also, I am extremely vocal especially playing in the middle. Something that I have noticed that sets me apart from others, is that I hate to lose more than I love to win. This mindset has made me very successful, since I always strive to work harder than the person next to me, even if it’s not a competition.
