Hi, my name is Ashlyn Bartley. I am a 17 year old Junior attending V. Sue Cleveland High School in New Mexico. I play for both my club team, AUFC Thorns 03, and varsity for my high school team since freshman year, in which I hold a starting position for both. I have also previously played for two years with the New Mexico ODP team and I helped lead my team to three state champion titles. Through this I have always had the goal to take my soccer career into the college level and beyond. I am a driven, hardworking, and technical player with a passion for competitive soccer.
Academically, I am a strong student. I currently hold a 4.2 and was named district all academic. I have recently joined the National Honor Society and rank top of my class. I plan to be a veterinarian and am looking to enter a pre-vet program of undergrad study. I also am including multiple AP classes in order to better prepare myself for college.
As a player, I am a quick and technical athlete who plays with my heart on my sleeve. I do a mix of weight, strength, and technical training to prepare myself for upcoming seasons and camps as well as to prepare myself to play competitively at the college level. I would absolutely love the opportunity to play college soccer and I look forward to what the future holds!
