I have played soccer almost my whole life and I've loved everything about the sport right from the beginning. I thoroughly enjoy being part of a team that feels like a family. It is very important to me to have a close and comfortable relationship with my teammates and coaches. I have learned through many losses and setbacks that it does not necessarily matter how much or what position you play, but that everyone has the ability to show leadership within the team in one way or another. Figuring out how to be a leader on the field, has most definitely influenced my personality off of the field as well. I now am more outgoing and willing to interact with new people in unfamiliar situations.
Not only has soccer positively altered my identity, but it has also pushed me to do better in school. With limited time on my hands due to multiple practices and commitments, I have had to learn some imperative skills to be successful such as time management and organization. These skills have helped me stay at the top of my class all throughout high school. My goal is to stay doing well and challenging myself through the rest of my high school career and into college. I believe this is possible strictly due to my dedication to the things I love and my willingness to do whatever it takes to be as successful and content as I can be in all aspects of life.
