My goals and aspirations consist of working hard towards always improving myself. I want to play in college where my abilities can be further developed and be an asset to the team. I aspire to grow as a team player, but always continue to develop as an individual both on and off the pitch. I have grown to be aware of my weaknesses and have found that when I work a bit harder on improving them; I achieve a better balance and they are no longer my weaknesses, but rather an accomplishment I've gained.
Growing up with a big family I've learned that sharing and communication is an important factor in getting along with everyone.
Academically, I know if I work harder I can usually do better... Something I work on every quarter as I move forward with my education. I enjoy most of my classes, I take spanish in school and I also am learning another language that my family speaks and I find it fun and exciting when I can speak to my grandparents or my friends overseas.
I have gone to Croatia every summer for the past 9 years and spend 2 months there with my grandparents, my family and friends I've met throughout the years. I know how lucky I am and never take the opportunity I am given for granted. I play soccer while I'm there and usually play with and against boys. We swim and enjoy ourselves all day long!
I want to share my experiences with other people that are not as fortunate as I am. I also want to help people in whatever way I can now and in my future career in the medical field.
