I have played soccer since the age of four and since first stepping on the field my love of the sport has grown and continues to grow. Playing since I was a kid and playing on many travel teams, my school, and my club team, I have been able to learn and experience the field from every position and many different angles, and this has made me learn how to adapt to all different scenarios on and off the field. As a player seeing the field, seeing movement of the field and everything that goes into scoring that goal is very important to me. There's more to soccer than scoring goals, but seeing where and how you can move to get up the field, how you can defend differently to shut down your opponent, thinking ahead, and being better than you were the day before. There's always ways to be better at the sport you love, whether its foundationally in footwork, or conditioning, or mentally; becoming mentally stronger for yourself and as a teammate. Teamwork is also very important to me. I have experienced first hand if a team cannot work together, no matter how good the players are individually, it won't work. Teamwork and leadership is very important to me and what I strive to provide when I am apart of a team. Academics are also very important to me, I work hard to keep my GPA up and earn high academic achievements. Personally I want to try my best in everything I am apart of. I was a speaking captain my junior and senior years of high school, earned second team all-stars my junior, first team all-stars my senior year, and have been a scholar athlete all four years of high school.
