Studying environmental engineering is my aspiration. Playing soccer is my sport. To play at a collegiate level is my dream.  

Sports have played a significant impact in my life. Growing up I enjoyed participating in soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball. As an eighth-grader, I was selected to play JV soccer (starting goal keeper), varsity basketball, and JV softball. Initially, I was intimidated and insecure by the older players, but that quickly changed. I came prepared to play both mentally and physically, worked hard, and listened to my coaches. Older team mates became my mentors and made sure I was part of the team. By the time the year was over I had confidence, and a new determination to do my best, and learned to never quit.

I continue to strengthen my commitment to being the best I can be, to set goals I will achieve through hard work and determination, and to find a balance between academics, sports, family, community, and my social life. I choose to study hard, be active in my community, to play multiple sports.

Goal keeping is my passion. It keeps me focused and mentally sharp. I’m committed to sharpen my technical skills and improve my physical condition. My dream is to be a keeper for a collegiate team. I want to be part of team where players, coaches, and trainers work together through good times and bad to achieve the same goals, to support the college, and to win games.
