I'm an 8th grader at East Yancey Middle School. My goals for my soccer career is to play Division 1 or NCAA at collegiate level and then go on to play professional. I also want to go to a college that has some of the best academics. I would be a good candidate for your team because first off I have a high work ethic and a good attitude. I have a higher understanding of soccer tactics than most people at my level and age. I have played age groups up and I play for my middle school's boys' team as a starter. As a midfielder I have a high endurance on the field and I am excellent at setting up plays. I am a captain on my team voted by my teammates because I am a good leader on and off the field. I have been exposed to many different styles of play because I have played on so many different teams and have played with boys and girls and I in the past have had coach's from Britain and Ghana. I have excellent footwork and can take on players fake them out and beat them with my speed in 1 vs. 1. I also run track and as a sixth grader I ran a faster mile than most high schoolers in the conference where I live. As a seventh grader I ran a faster mile and 800m than every girl in our conference. Mine and my coaches goal is for me to be able tp break 5 minutes by eighth grade. I am one of the best candidates for your team because of my speed, endurance, technical and tactical skill but also for my attitude, work ethic, and leadership.
