Hi, my name is Reagan Truxillo. I am fortunate and absolutely love being the oldest of six girls (yes, you read that correctly) and a member of the 2026 class at Charlotte Catholic High School (current GPA is 3.73). My Collegiate goals are to excel academically and athletically by earning the opportunity to compete with an infectious positive attitude. I play club soccer on the Charlotte Soccer Academy ECRL U17 Team and have started on the Charlotte Catholic Womens Soccer team that is littered with ECNL / ECRL Players since my Freshman year.
Being the oldest of six girls provides me with a unique experience that is supportive of many characteristics needed to thrive in the classroom and in team sports. Self-sacrifice, determination, adaptability, responsibility, conflict resolution, time-management, and love for the ones around me are simply ingrained into who I am and are ideal characteristics for all student-athletes.
Athletically, I love to compete and have played multiple sports my entire life (All-Conference First Team for Field - Hockey). I have been in the CSA ECRL program since I was in the 6th grade and have absolutely loved it. The ECRL program has provided me with a competitive environment at one of the best Youth Soccer Clubs in the country, access to terrific coaching, and most importantly to me, the opportunity to thrive and play multiple positions while seldomly coming off the field. This has helped me become a more complete soccer player while also supporting my interests in other sports, volunteer / work opportunities and most importantly, being able to spend time with my family.
For the 2022-2023 season, I was selected to the All-Reagon First team as a forward, then moved to the attacking mid-field for the 2023-2024 season. For my current CSA ECRL U17 Team, based on match up, formation, and in-game situations, I have played attacking forward, attacking mid-field, defensive mid-field, outside midfield, and outside back.
Academically, I have been a 4-time Academic Honor Roll Recipient, selected by the Dean of Students to be a Student Ambassador, received the Presidential Award for Service Hours with the volunteer work I have completed at the Best Buddies Program, Mel's Dinner, St. Matthews Vacation Bible School, South Charlotte Junior Cottillion program, and various other organizations.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I looking forward to discussing your what your college has to offer.
