Anna Bates '20 Recruiting Profile

Going to the 2AA state championships as a starting freshman was a really big eye opener for me. It helped me see how working hard individually and as a team can pay off.  My freshman year was a big year of growth not only in soccer, but I started playing volleyball as well.  I started on my schools varsity volleyball team and have been a starter my entire soccer career.  I have had such good experiences in high school and club sports that I can only imagine how much fun it will be to play in college.  I hope to find a welcoming school to continue my soccer career.  I’m looking for a college that will fit me not only athletically, but also academically.  I am willing to work my hardest to meet any requirements that are needed to better myself and my team.
