Mackenzie Flynn '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a three sport athlete, I run Cross Country, Track and Field and Soccer. Soccer has always been my passion! I have played soccer for Premier Teams up and down the East Coast throughout my life. I was introduced to the game at age four in South Florida. I then moved to Connecticut and played 5 years for the Premier Team "Sporting Connecticut". In 2020 my family moved to Roanoke Island in the Outer Banks. I was immediately placed on the Outer Banks Premier Team called "Storm" and still play for them. My position has been mostly "Striker" although on occasion I helped out on Wing or Mid Field when needed. 

My goal has always been to play at the collegiate level. 

My 12 most recent accomplishments in my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior years are as Follows:

- Team Captain

- I was named All Mid-Atlantic Region 2023 and 2024, ranked 10th out of all First Team Allstate recipients. 

- MVP of the 2A State Championship game against Wheatmore High School by scoring 2 goals and an assist for the win.

-Earned 1st team All State Honors my Freshman, Sophomore and Junior year, voted by 2A East Regional Coaches. 

- “Offensive Player of the Year” for my High School 2022 and 2024.

- Led our conference with goals scored, assists, and points for the last 3 years 

- I set a school record, scoring over 119 goals over my first 3 seasons of high school 

- Northeastern Coastal All Conference Honors Player of the Year 2023 and 2024

- All Region and All Conference 2002, 2023, 2024

- OBX Storm Youth Assistant Coach

 - Led the East Team in the Under Armour State game with Goals, Assists and Points

- I was named Youth Volunteer of the Year by Dare County Board of Directors. I was the youngest coach for the Rec Soccer program.
