Starting my High School soccer career in 7th grade allowed me to learn to play a vast variety of positions. During my first 2 years of high school soccer, I moved from forward to defense to midfield. This allowed me to improve my playmaking skills all around the field. My freshman year of High School I earned a starting midfield spot. Throughout that season I switched from left, right, and even defensive midfielder. During my previous club season, I added forward to my mix of positions. This allowed me to become a strong diverse player on the field.
I am just as strong in the classroom as I am playing soccer. I will be just as excited to be in a college classroom as I will be on a college field. To better my mind and leadership skills, I participate in several extracurricular activities. I am active in Speech, National Honor Society, Key Club, Science Olympiad, and Student Council. Speech has improved my ability to handle stressful situations, which in turn has improved how I handled stress on the soccer field. Through Science Olympiad, my teamwork and quick thinking skills have continued to grow. Student Council allows me to constantly improve myself into becoming a stronger leader for my school and for my team.
