Maddy Murphy '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a highschool Freshman at Mariemont Highschool in Cincinnati Ohio.  For club, I currently play on the Kings Hammer Red 2003 (top) team.  I made the varsity team last Fall at Mariemont H.S. and started as the center mid all season.  I was third on my team in goals and assists as a freshman and won all conference honors.  I also play center attacking mid on my club team.  Last year I played on the u15 Cincinnati Development Academy Premier team.  We compete in the National League last season season.  I am a really good team player who likes to combine with my teammates in the attack.  I am a good passer and have good speed on the wings and can play as a winger or a central attacking mid.  Before joining CDA, I was on Kings Hammer Academy top team and we won State Cup and advanced to the Regional final in South Dakota before losing in overtime.  I have played for the ODP Ohio south state team.  I have also played in the US Futsal national championship in Kansas.  In 2015 after attending an FC Barcelona summer camp in Ohio, I was selected to participate in an All Star camp run by FCB in Barcelona Spain. I spent ten days in Spain training with FCB coaches and playing on all boys’ teams against local clubs in Catalonia.   So I have had a pretty broad soccer experience in the last few years, playing in high level events and big games.

Academically I am an honors student at Mariemont H.S. and currently take Honors level classes and have a 4.0 GPA.  Coaches have complimented my strong work ethic, technical ability, passing vision and understanding of how to play the game.
