Going into my freshman year was really when I discovered my passion for the sport and ever since then, "first one on the field and last one out" has been my motto. I love the hard practices, tough games, and yes, even the demanding conditionings. From this sport, I have learned perseverance, organization, and the importance of a team. Perseverance is a given, success is not handed to you, it is earned, and as a soccer player, you have to earn it every single day to get to your goal. As a multi-sport athlete, you also learn how to prioritize and organize your time to be the most efficient. I have learned how to balance athletics and academics without letting either suffer, an important trait that I know will serve me well in college. Behind every great athlete is their team, whose support is essential to the success of any athlete. Through working with my teams, soccer, basketball, diving, and swimming, I have also learned that I am a leader. I am willing to step up to set an example for my teammates and always try to keep a positive attitude, both on and off the field.
