My name is Ashley Atchison and I am a sophomore at Valley View High School. I have been playing soccer since I was 3. You will never meet a more dedicated, hard working, and more positive. I am the player that always goes to optional practices and additional trainings like futsal and conditioning sessions. I am also the player who when asked to guest play no matter how late notice it is, jumps on the opportunity right away. My freshman year I was a starter on JV but also saw some varsity time. This year I was stoked when finding out I made Varsity and worked hard to become a starter.
Soccer has taught me so much, even things not related to soccer. Soccer has made me extremely social and I just love meeting and playing with new people throughout my club. I view myself as a very supportive, positive, and motivating teammate. I want the best for my teammates and our team. I personally thrive on criticism and it only makes me work harder. Becoming a collegiate athlete is my biggest goal and I will do anything to try and reach it.
Although soccer is very important to me, academics is also something I prioritize. Currently I have straight A's and am taking multiple honors classes. On top of soccer and school, I also am currently in FCCLA and interact. With this being said, I hope to attend a college with a great soccer program and nursing program to further my academics.
