Cordelia Hannah '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cordelia Hannah, my speed, variety of 1v1 moves and skills in tight spaces allow me to get in behind defenses and have good finishes on goal. I am a three year varsity striker for Goshen High School who also plays for Cincinnati United Premier 2004 Black. While I primarily play striker, I also play attacking midfield and winger. A part of the 2022 graduating class, I am a driven player who appreciates feedback and is always looking for ways to improve. I pride myself on being a leader who supports my fellow teammates and pushes them to be their best. When I get to college, I plan to major in physical therapy. I was voted captain by my teammates for our high school team next season.

Over the last three years I have received many high school soccer honors. One that is very special to my team is The Warrior Award. This award is given to one person on the team who plays like a warrior: a strong work ethic on and off the field, leadership, heart, determination, grit, fight and displays the values of the Goshen Community. In 2019 my coach gave me The Warrior Award and this year my teammates voted and I was again awarded the honor of this special award.

Last school year, I took and passed  -AP Language and Composition,  -AP U.S. Government and DC (dual-credit) Chemistry. I am a dedicated student and have earned a weighted GPA of 4.33. This year, I am taking DC Western Civilization 1 and 2, DC Trigonometry, DC College Algebra, AP Psychology, AP Chemistry, AP English Literature, and Spanish 3. I got a 24 on my ACT last year and am planning to take it again this year. 

This year I scored 14 goals, which is the second highest amount of goals scored in one season in the program history as far back as we have records. I am currently ranked within the top 20 of my graduating class and can’t wait to play college soccer!
