I know what you (college coaches) are thinking. That I might be another student athlete that's going to type a paragraph about how hard I'll work and that I'll go on and on about how I'm the hardest working player on the field. And I do try my hardest and push to improve but I know I'm not the best and that there's always going to be someone better in areas. And I'd like to embrace that. It's good to keep a high head but also to keep your feet on the ground. (Unless the ball is in the air) But honestly, I've played soccer since I was 5 and I've loved every minute of it. Freshman and Sophomore year I did band and soccer; which took up quite a lot of time. I would run from band practice straight to soccer practice. Having that experience helped me learn how to manage my time and give everything I have into what I'm doing.
For high school I'm the starting varsity goalkeeper which I've been a keeper for 5 years and there were tough times I'm not going to lie but, I wouldn't trade any of these experiences for the world. All of the mistakes and mess ups I made and also the "once in a lifetime" saves I made is what makes playing the game so interesting. You can decide on where you'll go. And if you don't put the effort and work into fixing your mistakes to improve then don't expect to get better. With playing MRL at 15 I can't wait for what I'll get out of the next years.
