The greatest achievement is gaining the ability to grow in response to any difficult situation life throws at you. Volleyball has pushed me personally in every aspect of my life. I have learned to adapt and improve after constructive criticism after a bad play and I have understood how to interact with different types of people and personalities. These events have pushed me both physically and mentally. Volleyball constantly challenges me to think in different ways. When I continually challenge myself, I find success and improve my skills and techniques. Volleyball has taught me that success comes from hard work. There is no success without putting in the time. There are no short cuts. Balancing volleyball with school work has not always been easy. Keeping both in balance and excelling at each one has required focus, determination, patience, hard work, and trusting in my abilities. I am dedicated to learn, to improve and to accomplish my goals.
