2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hi, my name is Ronni Hartlage. I am a Junior at Oak Harbor High School, in Oak Harbor, Ohio with a soccer program that has won our conference ten years in a row! At the age of five I joined my first soccer team, and I've always dreamed of playing soccer at the collegiate level.
I am a hard-worker and I'm dedicated to all that I do both on and off the soccer field. I have received a 4.0 on every grade card throughout high school currently, and I will continue to push myself academically. I also volunteer regularly at my church, in my community, and at the Oak Harbor Public Library. I've always had grit, and because of that I received Most Improved Player Award my Freshman year, the Scholar Athlete Award the last three years, the SBC All Academic Award, All A's Award, Sophomore Scholarship Award, and I was inducted into National Honors Society.
My main position is Goalkeeper. I play soccer in the Fall for Oak Harbor High School, and in the Winter, Spring, and Summer I play on the Oak Harbor Arsenal travel soccer team. I've helped both the JV and Varsity Soccer team my last three years of high school. I was a captain for JV my Sophomore year, and captain for multiple games my Junior year on Varsity.
I am interested in majoring in Computer Science, but I have not decided on a particular college to attend. I want to be pushed athletically and academically throughout my college career. I have a strong desire to make soccer a part of my college experience to fulfill many of my greatest aspirations. Thank you for your time, and for viewing my profile!
