My name is Quinn Kuhlman. I am a 5'3 attacking midfielder (mainly) but can also play other positions like forward or outside back. This past year I was a permanent starter, and helped my team to win our conference championship game. This year I was named OCC Special Mention. This is in addition to OCC honorable mention and my team's "On the Rise" award from last year. For training, I go to Orangetheory Fitness, I have club practices, and do technical training independently. By doing these things I gain more knowledge and get better everyday.
I have been playing since I was four years old and have learned so much, not just about soccer. I have learned how to spend my time accordingly, keep organized, and, most importantly, work with others. Ever since I was four I have been dreaming of going to a competitive college not only in soccer but also in academics. I know this has been a big goal of mine, so I make sure to give 110% effort in everything I do. I have excellent foot skills, a powerful shot, and I am great at distributing the ball. I am a very coachable athlete and will take in anything and everything that is said.
With that being said, in the classroom, I work extremely hard to make sure I am proud of my work. I study very hard in order to maintain my 4.18 GPA. I take all honors classes, AP classes, and a few CCP classes. I am actively involved in Spanish Club, Mu Alpha Theta, prom committee and hope to explore more extra-curriculars for my senior year. I have received many awards for my academics. Due to that, I have high hopes to attend a school with an excellent soccer program and one that will challenge me with academics to help me reach my goal of going into the field of medicine.
